Mother’s day is mere days away. Mostly I can hardly believe I am a mum at all, let alone a mum of two gorgeous small people. But here I am approaching mothers day number four and I’m feeling pretty proud of myself – for keeping everyone alive and for the most part, clean, well-fed and happy.

I have decided to treat myself to some kind of pat-on-the-back / keep-up-the-good-work gift. So those of you looking to buy a gift for your own rad mum or the mum of your little ones, I thought that sharing this collection of lovely-bits-I-have-been-lusting-over-for-months may be helpful. Also, if anyone sees my husband around..lets point him in the direction of this post.

One of these beaut In Bed Store linen pillow cases to house a fresh new pillow for all of the sleeping I will continue to dream about doing.

These Marc Fisher Sneakerdrilles had me at hello. Or maybe it was the coffee in the photo, but either way coffee and comfortable shoes are basically my two faves.

I love all of the bits by Nico Underwear.  Lis, the beautiful brains behind the brand is a fellow Brisbane dweller, friend and all round gorgeous human. She and I chatted all things motherhood recently (you can have a look at that chat here ) while I fell I love with the entire Nico range. The team have recently released a range of adorable, sustainable and locally made socks, and I reckon they are just what my feet have been looking for.

Isn’t this the nicest idea for a personalised birthstone memento? I have had my eyes peeled for some kind of subtle personalised jewellery to acknowledge my babes for a while now and I just can’t get past this beautiful stack of  birthstone rings by the husband and wife team at BijuBee Jewellery.

Just to reiterate, anything that will make my bed cosier for maximum comfort during these years of minimal slumber is going to be well received by me. I am already a linen sheet convert and these In The Sac cover and sheet sets are right up my alley.

And finally this outstanding tee by The Bee & The Fox. I first saw it on my ultimate mum-crush Courtney Adamo and since tracking it down, I have become a huge fan of the brand and their vintage inspired nostalgic collection of slogan Tees (in particular – ‘Mama bear’, ‘Mama tried’, ‘Love your mama’ …genius).

All I really want for Mother’s Day is a hand drawn card from the kids, peanut butter on toast and a coffee in bed, and a fun day spent together.

…And maybe a cheap pair of PJ’s, a sleep-in and some kind of day exemption from housework and mediating lego negotiations. Too much?

We are all busy people, soo it never hurts to be explicit when it comes to present wish-list. Amirite?
