Easter is coming! It really snuck up on me this year. We are heading out for town for a little road trip to the hunter valley via byron bay blues fest which is our usual easter family tradition. However we always make time for an easter lunch celebration sometime nearish to the date, to eat, drink, and mostly so that all of the fully grown adult children can get very competitive about easter egg hunt.
This year is the first year in a while that I might actually have my hands free for lunching. Both of our kids are pretty much big enough to sit at their own little table. So I thought I would get in early with the kids easter table decor.
I will probably immediately regret some of the ceramic pieces and will likely have to swap them out for something more toddler friendly if Roam is the the mood for throwing plates across the room.
If you’re looking for something similar, this is where I got mine:
- Table cloth – Kmart single bed confetti sheet
- Hand painted easter plates – Morgan and Finch
- Milk cups/tea light candle holders – Morgan and Finch
- Mason jar vase – Kmart
- Pikelet bowl, forks and spoons – opp shop finds
I used this delicious fluffy coconut pikelet recipe. They turned out way less fluffy and way more delicious than expected. Highly recommend.
